Soccer – Alex Pritchard scores Huddersfield’s first home goal since April
Huddersfield vs West Ham
After picking up just their second win of the season vs Fulham on Monday, Huddersfield will have been full of confidence heading into Saturday’s game with West Ham.
Huddersfield started the day in the relegation zone and have struggled to score goals this season.
Before the game with West Ham, Huddersfield had scored just five goals in 11 Premier League games.
As for West Ham, they started the day in 12th place and had won their last league game 4-2 vs Burnley.
A win for Huddersfield could see them move as high as 15th. A win for the Hammers could see them move up to 12th.

Alex Pritchard gives Huddersfield the lead
Despite Huddersfield’s lack of goals, the Terriers started the game very brightly.
Their early pressure would be rewarded in the 6th minute as Alex Pritchard put them 1-0 up.
Pritchard’s goal is also a very special goal for Huddersfield.
This is because it is the first time a Huddersfield player has scored at home in 726 minutes.
Before Pritchard, the last Huddersfield player to score at home was Tom Ince back in April vs Watford.

You could have watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy plus all but the final minute of the Hobbit in that time.
